The fully renovated Portuguese cottage Casa Pauline (45 m2) is a wonderfully comfortable and luxurious self-catered holiday home with two bedrooms and a shared pool for 1-2 people in a Mediterranean garden in the Algarve,  in Portugal.

What does Casa Pauline offer?
The cottage has been renovated in Portuguese style with the well-known authentic Portuguese details. Suitable for young and old, also suitable for small families, remote workers, and winter visitors.

With high wooden ceilings and many windows, the holiday home looks light and spacious. It has sea views, its own private Mediterranean garden facing south, and the neighbors' olive grove.

Air conditioning and floor cooling in summer, and comfortable underfloor heating and a cozy wood stove in winter. The floor is covered with original handmade Portuguese Santa Catarina floor tiles.

From the cozy living room you have access to the largest bedroom, the bathroom, and the second small bedroom. 

Kitchen
This is equipped with an oven, induction hob, extractor hood, small two-person dishwasher, wine cooler, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchen linen, crockery, cutlery, and a separate large fridge. And of course all the essentials for cooking.  

Bathroom
The bathroom consists of a bathroom unit with a washbasin. The floor is covered with Portuguese tiles that are handcrafted by an 83-year-old local craftsman.

Of course, it also has modern underfloor heating for winter! A rain shower with hand shower, bathroom unit, and toilet complete the bathroom. 

Living Room
Here you will find two comfortable armchairs, a three-seater velvet sofa, a coffee table with marble and glass, and a modern rug.

You can dine at the wooden dining table with four compact handmade dining chairs in linen look. And not to forget the cozy wood stove; the firewood is already ready.

Large bedroom
This consists of a handmade luxury boxspring with a stitched headboard and a 21 cm high hotel-quality medium-hardness mattress of 180cmx200cm and a topper.

A wardrobe, a chest of drawers, air conditioning, and French doors opening onto your own spacious garden. The bathrobes and bath towels are ready for you!

Small bedroom
This consists of a single-bed sofa bed (which can be unfolded into a double bed) with a good quality mattress. Also a hanging area for your clothes and a well-stocked bookshelf. Additionally, beside a single bed, a baby crib can be placed.

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace is equipped with a parasol, lounge set for relaxing outside. Both at the front and side of the house there is a terrace and a parking space. 

Shared garden
In the shared young Mediterranean garden there are mainly plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti, and succulents. There are also palms, cypresses, and fruit trees.

In this garden you also find the large gas barbecue where you can grill to your heart's content. A jeu de boules court will be added in the future.

Shared pool
Finally the saltwater pool 10 by 4 meters. Large enough to swim a few laps or relax on the bench in the water with a drink.

There are sunbeds ready for you under the palms with a view of the Atlantic coast. Let the holiday begin!

Remote work
If you want to work remotely during your stay at Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho in addition to relaxing, you can do so with us. We provide a good office chair and good WiFi.

Decoration
Along with Belgian designers from Concept X Interiors from the nearby town of Olhao, our three accommodations have been furnished. We are super excited about the result! 

The paintings hanging in our holiday homes were made by the Dutch artist Chantal van Leeuwen. She works and lives in the Algarve.

We are fans of her work and are therefore very happy that Chantal has some of her collection hanging in our Guesthouse. These paintings are for sale.

Casa Florine is a modern, luxurious and hotel‑chic self‑catered holiday home of 40 m², for 1‑2 people with shared pool at Boutique Hotel Guesthouse‑Moncarapacho in the east Algarve, Portugal.

The holiday accommodation is equipped with all comforts with a view of the spacious Mediterranean garden and the beautiful olive grove of the neighbors. From the terrace the sea itself can be seen! What does Casa Florine offer?
A delightful spacious and bright house with wood‑look herringbone tiles, a comfortable English model double sofa with a beautiful print, a compact gold‑colored armchair, two coffee tables with marble tops.

Thanks to the high wooden ceiling and many windows, it feels light and spacious. A large air conditioning unit is available to cool the entire space.

Kitchen
The spacious luxury kitchen is equipped with an oven, induction hob with extractor hood, small double dishwasher, wine fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer. 

And of course all the necessities for cooking, kitchen linens, crockery and cutlery. The dining area is spaciously arranged with a cozy round mineral‑coated dining table and 4 handmade gold‑colored custom chairs.

Bedroom
The sleeping area is furnished with a handmade box spring with upholstered headboard, a 21 cm high hotel‑quality medium‑hardness mattress 180×200 cm.

Next to the bed, two nightstands made of gold‑colored metal and marble. A spacious built‑in wardrobe and sliding doors to your private garden/terrace. 

Bathroom
Adjacent to the sleeping area is the luxury bathroom. It is equipped with a walk‑in shower with handheld shower, toilet, mirror and marble bathroom furniture. The marble comes from Portugal and is made by a local craftsman.

Bath and bed linens are provided, as well as comfortable bathrobes and large bath towels for the pool and/or beach. 

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace is equipped with a parasol, table and chairs for enjoying meals outside.

Shared garden
In the shared young Mediterranean garden there are mainly plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti and succulents. Palms, cypresses and fruit trees are also present.

In this garden you also find the large gas barbecue where you can grill to your heart's content. A jeu de boules court will be added in the future.

The luxury modern holiday bungalow Casa Celine (60 m2) is located directly by the pool and offers a beautiful view of the fishing village Fuseta and the Atlantic Ocean in the Algarve. Suitable for 1-2 people.

What does Casa Celine offer?
A cozy living room with fireplace that gives direct access to the covered terrace (20m2) with outdoor kitchen, long dining table with 4 chairs and shared pool.

A lovely lounge sofa and a cozy round dining table with four comfortable chairs that border the open kitchen. 

The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob with built-in extractor, dishwasher, oven, wine fridge, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and large American fridge with freezer. And of course all the necessities for cooking, kitchen linen, crockery and cutlery.

In the hallway you will find a toilet, the kitchenette with washing machine and dryer and the passage to the spacious bedroom. It consists of a double bed with topper, wardrobe, wardrobe with drawers, air conditioning and French doors to the garden with sea view.

The luxury bathroom has a walk-in shower with hand shower, bathroom furniture and a second toilet with hand shower.  Bath and bed linen are provided, as well as comfortable bathrobes and large beach towels for the pool and/or beach.

From the garden you can go up the stairs to the roof terrace and have a beautiful view of the ocean. The property is equipped with underfloor heating and a fireplace for winter and automatic air conditioning and floor cooling for summer. 

Common garden
The common garden is furnished with lovely sunbeds and a parasol. It largely consists of Mediterranean plants and trees and of course the orange trees are present where our surroundings are known for.

In this garden you also find the large gas barbecue where you can barbecue to your heart's content. A jeu de boules court will be added in the future.

Pool
Finally the saltwater pool of 10 by 4 meters. Large enough to swim a few laps or relax on the bench in the water with a glass.

Casa Felix, 1-2 person hotel room

Casa Felix is a spacious hotel room, with the possibility to enjoy a delicious breakfast in the room or by the pool in the Mediterranean garden.

What does Casa Felix offer?
It consists of a cozy seating area, a bed with its own luxury bathroom, sea view and access to the shared pool. Suitable for 1-2 people.

For people who land at Faro airport and want to relax for a few days, are on the way to Spain or traveling around Portugal, this hotel room is perfect.

The seating area by the window overlooking the Atlantic Ocean consists of two comfortable chairs and a small table. The room also has a television, a kettle and a Nespresso machine.

The bedroom is equipped with a 180x200 cm boxspring mattress with a topper. Adjacent to the sleeping area is the luxury bathroom. It features a walk-in shower with handheld shower, toilet, mirror and designer sink.

Bath and bed linen are provided, as well as comfortable bathrobes and large towels for the pool and/or beach. 

The high wooden ceiling and windows give this room a light and spacious look. It has automatic air conditioning and floor cooling in summer and floor heating in winter. 

If you want to celebrate a holiday and work remotely during your stay at Boutique Hotel Guesthouse-Moncarapacho, we provide a desk chair and you can use our Wi‑Fi.

In the summer months you can enjoy with family or friends at our small-scale, luxury Boutique Hotel Guesthouse-Moncarapacho with a pool in the east Algarve.

The sea with its long wide beaches is less than 8 km away from our Guesthouse. 

Our guesthouse is located in the countryside on an unpaved road - just outside the village of Moncarapacho - with views of the Atlantic Ocean and the fishing village of Fuseta, the Ria Formosa nature reserve, and the olive grove of our neighbors.

What does the entire Guesthouse offer?
The three self-catered holiday homes (170m2) with their own terraces, suitable for 1 to 8 people, are tastefully and luxuriously furnished by the Belgian designers ConceptX Interiors from neighboring Olhão.

Enjoy the warm colours, soft fabrics, marble and shiny gold, but especially the comfortable chairs, sofas and boxspring beds.

The furnishings and decorations/paintings by artist Chantal van Leeuwen are fully coordinated with each other.

The kitchens are luxuriously equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge, wine cooler and dishwasher. Would you prefer a delightful breakfast on the terrace of your accommodation every day? Or occasionally enjoy a meal we prepare for you? Let us know at the time of booking.

Casa Florine and Casa Celine are each suitable for up to 2 people. Casa Pauline has an extra (small) bedroom, making it suitable for a small family. In Casa Celine, a baby crib can optionally be placed in the spacious bedroom.

Bath and bed linen are provided, as well as comfortable bathrobes and large beach towels for the pool and/or beach. 

Shared garden
The garden is furnished with lovely sunbeds and parasols. It largely consists of Mediterranean plants and trees and, of course, the orange trees that our area is known for are not missing.
