Casa Pauline 1-2 person holiday home

The fully renovated Portuguese cottage Casa Pauline (45 m²) is a wonderfully comfortable and luxurious self-catered holiday home with two bedrooms and a shared pool for 1-2 persons in a Mediterranean garden in the Algarve, Portugal. 

What does Casa Pauline offer?
The cottage has been renovated in Portuguese style with the well-known authentic Portuguese details. Suitable for young and old, also suitable for small families, remote workers and winter stayers.

With high wooden ceilings and many windows, the holiday home looks bright and spacious. It has sea view, its own private Mediterranean and south-facing garden, and the neighboring olive grove.

Air conditioning and floor cooling in summer and comfortable underfloor heating and a cozy wood stove in winter. The floor is covered with original handmade Portuguese Santa Catarina floor tiles.

From the cozy living room you have access to the largest bedroom, the bathroom and the second smaller bedroom. 

Kitchen
This is equipped with an oven, induction hob, extractor hood, small two-person dishwasher, wine fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchen linen, crockery, cutlery and a separate large fridge. And of course all the necessities for cooking.  

Bathroom
The bathroom consists of a vanity with a washbasin. On the floor are Portuguese tiles that are handcrafted by an 83-year-old craftsman from the area.

Of course with modern underfloor heating for winter! A rain shower with hand shower, vanity and toilet complete the bathroom. 

Living room
Here you will find two comfortable armchairs, a three-seat velvet sofa, a coffee table with marble and glass and a modern carpet.

You can eat at the wooden dining table with four compact handmade dining chairs in linen look. And don't forget the cozy wood stove, the wood blocks are already ready.

Large bedroom
This consists of a handmade luxury box spring with a stitched headboard and a 21 cm high hotel-quality medium-hardness mattress of 180cmx200cm and a topper.

A wardrobe, a chest of drawers, air conditioning and opening doors to the own spacious garden. The bathrobes and bath towels are ready for you!

Second bedroom
This consists of a single futon (can be unfolded into a double bed) with a good quality mattress. Also a hanging section for your clothes and a well-stocked bookcase. A baby crib can also be placed.

Garden
The large private Mediterranean garden with terrace is equipped with a parasol, lounge set to relax outside. Both at the front and the side of the house there is a terrace and a parking space. 

Shared garden
In the shared young Mediterranean garden are mainly plants from the Algarve such as yuccas, cacti and succulents. But there are also palms, cypresses and fruit trees. 

In this garden you will also find the large gas barbecue where you can barbecue to your heart's content. A game of boules lane will also come in the future.

Shared pool
Finally the saltwater pool of 10 by 4 meters. Large enough to swim a few laps or relax on the bench in the water with a glass.

Sun loungers are ready for you under the palm trees with view of the Atlantic coast. Let the holiday begin!

Remote working
If you want to work remotely during your stay at Boutique Guesthouse-Moncarapacho in addition to relaxing, you can do that with us. We provide a good office chair and good WiFi.

* Rent for 1 night, several nights, a week to several months.
* Option to rent the entire Guesthouse
* Extra person over 16 years is €35.00 per night.

Tourist tax
- From May to October, for a maximum of 5 nights, you pay €2 per person per night.
- From November to April, for a maximum of 5 nights, you pay €1 per person per night.
- Children under 16 are exempt.

Decoration
Together with Belgian designers from Concept X Interiors from the nearby town of Olhao, our three accommodations have been furnished. We are super excited about the result! 

The paintings hanging in our holiday homes are by Dutch artist Chantal van Leeuwen. She works and lives in the Algarve.

We are fans of her work and are delighted that Chantal has hung part of her collection in our Guesthouse. These paintings are for sale.
